“I was immediately drawn to Veronica when I met her at church. Her energy and contagious smile made it so easy for me to approach her. Once we started talking I felt like I knew her for years and immediately knew when I started Celebrate Recovery, she was going to be my coach. After going to a couple of Wednesday nights at CR, I asked her to be my coach and immediately she was willing to help me. Her prayers and talks just always left me in tears. After going through CR and having one-on-ones with her, I came out a stronger woman with an identity in Christ. I processed things from my childhood that I never thought I would and was able to forgive my parents. Veronica made me feel powerful and gave me so much insight. She fed me Christ’s love and continues to this day. I am so happy and blessed to call her my mentor. Veronica continues to be my friend and is a sister I can rely on. She is a light that inspires me."
